We are seeking hospitality-oriented individuals to fill the following positions:

ASSISTANT MANAGER FOR ROOMS AND EVENTS

We are looking for a Hospitality Professional to lead the Inn’s front desk and concierge services.

The candidate will be responsible to the General Manager for the success of the Inn’s rooms and events programs. The candidate will be the lead salesperson for the Inn’s rooms and events. Candidate will work closely with the GM and the Dinnertime Dining Hospitality Lead to create memorable events and to coordinate sales of rooms. Candidate will oversee the cleanliness and aesthetic upkeep of the Inn’s rooms as well as the pool and hot tub area. Candidate will ensure that rooms and events are first-class and that staff morale and dedication to the inn are excellent, positive, and grounded in the philosophy of hospitality. Candidate will be the front-of-the-house representative for Inn guests’ breakfast.

Responsibilities for Assistant Manager for Rooms and Events:

With other managers, represent LCI in the community, professionally and personally
With other managers, ensure guest satisfaction
With staff, answer all phone calls to the inn and handle them or direct them to the correct party
Sell events that fit with the inn’s philosophy, calendar, and capabilities
Create and maintain a culture of hospitality, positivity, with a guest-centered philosophy
Manage all room reservations and inn guest questions and needs
Manage all guest transportation to and from inn
Manage concierge program
Coordinate with other managers for inn guests’ dining needs
Oversee front-of-the house breakfast presentation
With other managers, coordinate and plan for events
Meet weekly with other managers to assess progress

Qualifications for Assistant Manager for Rooms and Events

Prior hospitality experience preferred
Guest-centric customer service skills required

SERVERS

We are looking for hospitality-oriented candidates to work with our Dining Room Manager to provide excellent customer service to guests who are dining at Woods. Must possess an interest in food and local sourcing and a knowledge of wine. Candidates will believe in and value the overall food philosophy of the inn, which is rooted in local, seasonal sourcing and rustic, flavorful New England-inspired cuisine. Candidates must be team players who will work to create and maintain a culture of hospitality and positivity. Must possess a guest-centered philosophy. Housing possible as part of compensation.

BUSSERS

We are looking for hospitality-oriented candidates to work with our Dining Room Manager to provide the necessary support to our servers, including clearing and turning tables and restocking work areas to support front-of-house service so that we can provide excellent customer service to guests who are dining at Woods. Must be dependable and personable. Candidates must be team players who will work to create and maintain a culture of hospitality and positivity. Must possess a guest-centered philosophy. FOOD RUNNERS

We are looking for hospitality-oriented candidates to work with our Executive Chef and Sous Chef as well as our Dining Room Manager to provide support to our kitchen and our front-of-the house staff by delivering food to tables in a friendly and precise manner so that we can provide excellent customer service to guests who are dining at Woods. Must be dependable and personable. Candidates must be team players who will work to create and maintain a culture of hospitality and positivity. Must possess a guest-centered philosophy. LINE COOKS

We are looking for candidates to work with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in our beautiful restaurant to execute local and seasonal menus for an upscale prix fixe program that highlights the best available New England ingredients, with a special focus on Martha’s Vineyard sourcing. Line Cook should have experience cooking on a line that delivered quality and managed volume.

PREP COOKS

We are looking for candidates to work with our Executive Chef and our Sous Chef in our beautiful restaurant to help prep to execute local and seasonal menus for an upscale prix fixe program that highlights the best available New England ingredients, with a special focus on Martha’s Vineyard sourcing. Prep cooks will support the dinnertime kitchen needs as well as the needs of the Inn’s other Food and Beverage demands throughout the day and season, including prepping breakfast, lunch picnic baskets, and food for events.

BREAKFAST COOK

We are looking for a candidate to work with our Executive Chef and our Sous Chef in our beautiful restaurant to prepare breakfast for inn guests. Breakfast Chef will work closely with the Assistant Manager for Rooms and Events to prepare and present a local and seasonal upscale breakfast for Lambert’s Cove Inn guests. Breakfast will highlight the best available New England ingredients, with a special focus on Martha’s Vineyard sourcing.
