This enchanted property, that was originally a working farm, circa 1790, is a retreat for solo travelers, a romantic escape for couples, and a haven for digital nomads. SOUS CHEF
We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to assist the Executive Chef in our beautiful restaurant to execute local and seasonal menus for an upscale prix fixe program that highlights the best available New England ingredients, with a special focus on Martha’s Vineyard sourcing.
ASSISTANT MANAGER FOR ROOMS AND EVENTS
We are looking for a Hospitality Professional to lead the Inn’s front desk and concierge services.
FRONT DESK CLERK
We are looking for a hospitality-oriented candidate to assist our Assistant Manager of Rooms and Events by staffing the front desk of the Inn and providing friendly, informed customer service. Candidate must be a team player who will work to create and maintain a culture of hospitality and positivity. Must possess a guest-centered philosophy. Housing possible as part of compensation.
DINING ROOM HOST
We are looking for a hospitality-oriented candidate to assist our Dining Room Manager by greeting and seating guests who are joining us at Woods for dining. Dining Room Host will work with our Dining Room Manager to oversee the flow of the room and manage reservations. Host will assist servers as necessary. Candidate must be a team player who will work to create and maintain a culture of hospitality and positivity. Must possess a guest-centered philosophy. Housing possible as part of compensation.
SERVERS
We are looking for hospitality-oriented candidates to work with our Dining Room Manager to provide excellent customer service to guests who are dining at Woods. Must possess an interest in food and local sourcing and a knowledge of wine. Candidates will believe in and value the overall food philosophy of the inn, which is rooted in local, seasonal sourcing and rustic, flavorful New England-inspired cuisine. BUSSERS
We are looking for hospitality-oriented candidates to work with our Dining Room Manager to provide the necessary support to our servers, including clearing and turning tables and restocking work areas to support front-of-house service so that we can provide excellent customer service to guests who are dining at Woods. FOOD RUNNERS
We are looking for hospitality-oriented candidates to work with our Executive Chef and Sous Chef as well as our Dining Room Manager to provide support to our kitchen and our front-of-the house staff by delivering food to tables in a friendly and precise manner so that we can provide excellent customer service to guests who are dining at Woods. LINE COOKS
We are looking for candidates to work with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in our beautiful restaurant to execute local and seasonal menus for an upscale prix fixe program that highlights the best available New England ingredients, with a special focus on Martha’s Vineyard sourcing. Line Cook should have experience cooking on a line that delivered quality and managed volume.
PREP COOKS
We are looking for candidates to work with our Executive Chef and our Sous Chef in our beautiful restaurant to help prep to execute local and seasonal menus for an upscale prix fixe program that highlights the best available New England ingredients, with a special focus on Martha’s Vineyard sourcing. Prep cooks will support the dinnertime kitchen needs as well as the needs of the Inn’s other Food and Beverage demands throughout the day and season, including prepping breakfast, lunch picnic baskets, and food for events.

BREAKFAST COOK
We are looking for a candidate to work with our Executive Chef and our Sous Chef in our beautiful restaurant to prepare breakfast for inn guests. Breakfast Chef will work closely with the Assistant Manager for Rooms and Events to prepare and present a local and seasonal upscale breakfast for Lambert’s Cove Inn guests. Breakfast will highlight the best available New England ingredients, with a special focus on Martha’s Vineyard sourcing. DISHWASHER AND PORTER
We are looking for a candidate to work with in our kitchen as a dishwasher and to assist our Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and Cooks to maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining room. Ensure all china, glassware, silver, kitchen equipment and smallwares are cleaned and sanitized and stored in their proper locations.
